What is the Network (or Provider Network)?

The doctors, hospitals and other health care providers that participate in contract agreements with the Insurance provider. You will always receive the highest level of benefits when using providers that participate in your specific network (In-Network). Choosing services from providers that do not participate in your particular provider network  (Out-of-Network) will increase the amount that you pay for those services.
